Looking for a fun and friendly local team? Whether you're new to the game, a seasoned player, or haven't picked up a stick in years, Bristol Ladies are always looking for new additions.
As we are currently a one team club, all of our winter league match playing spaces are full but we are always welcoming training members.
We play in Brunel Division 1 in the West Hockey Women’s League. Matches are every Saturday during the winter season, which runs from late September to late March each year.
We also often play in one or two summer leagues each year as well as one off tournaments. Summer leagues take place between May and August and are much more relaxed. These are a great way to get some game practice in a less competitive environment. Both training and playing league members are welcomed and encouraged to play in the summer leagues.
Join us for a training session at Orchard School, Horfield and see if we're the ladies for you. We wear casual attire for training but do recommend shin pads and a gum shield. We can also temporarily lend hockey sticks if you don’t currently have one. Typically every Tuesday at 7.30pm during winter season. Please note - our club is not able to support players under 18 years of age but there are lots of other great clubs in and around Bristol that do.
